-Are you licensed bonded and insured? A:Yes we are. Our Nevada State contractors board license numbers are 54838 and 59826. The state contractors board requires every licensed contractor to maintain a bond, general liability insurance and workers compensation insurance. Proof must be provided to the board annually in order to renew one's license. Copies of these documents are available upon request. -What do I need to do to get an estimate and are they free? A:Just fill out the estimate request form and we will contact you or call our office @ 702.255.5480. Yes, we provide free estimates. -Do you subcontract out the fabrication of granite countertops? A:No we don't. Silver State Stone has our own fabrication shop and everything is done in house from estimate to installation. Nothing is ever subcontraced ever! -How do I take care of my natural stone? A:It depends on what type of stone you have and what you want it to look like. The answer is quite ambiguous but without seeing what you have it is almost impossible to answer. Reqest a maintenance estimate and we will come out and tell you what you need, or if you prefer, we can do it for you. We offer complete comprehensive care for all types of stone and tile. -Where do I go to look for tile or granite? A:We recomend Arizona Tile, Dal Tile, Emser Tile, The Tuscany Collection (click here to see maps and addresses) -what kind of warranty do you offer? A:It is required by state law to warranty all work for 4 Years. We haven't ever had and issue with any of our installs but if we did we stand by our work no matter how long it has been. -What is a crack isolation membrane or slip sheet? A:A crack isolation membrane is a protective barrier laid between the concrete and your tile that helps prevent cracking of your tile or stone floor. Cracks that form in concrete will carry right through your tile if you don't use a crack isolation membrane. Silver State Stone will not install tile or stone flooring without using a crack isolation membrane.
